SWAT 3 Tactical Game of the Year 2.1 Update
This file updates SWAT 3 to include all the latest changes and improvements. This update is required for online play only.
Attention North American Customers: To install this file, you must have SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year version 2.0 or the SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year version 2.0.1.0 Beta installed. If you are a SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle owner, you must first download and install the Multiplayer Update for SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle before you upgrade to version 2.0.
All Other Customers: Players with the German, Spanish, Italian, French, or UK version of the game can update to version 2.1 from versions 1.6, 1.66 or 1.7.

SWAT 3 Tactical Game of the Year 2.0 Update

This file updates SWAT 3: Elite Edition to include all the latest changes and improvements included in the SWAT 3 Tactical Game of the Year product (minus the content included with the Advanced Tactics CD). This update is required for online play only.
Important: To install this file, you must have SWAT 3: Elite Edition or SWAT 3 Version 1.6 installed. If you are a SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle owner, you must first download and install the Multiplayer Update for SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle before you upgrade to version 2.0.
The changes introduced by the SWAT 3 Tactical Game of the Year 2.0 Update include:
- 10-Man Multiplayer
- 10-Man Observer Mode
- Custom Careers
- Team Deathmatch Base Camp
- Enhanced Debrief Screens
- Respawn Protection

10 Man Career Mission Update

This update will add 10 player support and multiple entry points for the following previously released missions:
Due to changes implemented in the game for the SWAT 3 2.0 Update, an update is necessary for the 4 missions listed above. This update will add support for 10-man games and multiple entry points when playing these missions. This update DOES NOT install the actual missions. In addition, if you have the proper missions installed this update will also install the 'SWAT 3 Tactical GOTY 10 Man Career' and appropriate scenarios.
In order to successfully install the 10-Man Career Mission Update follow the steps below.
- Update previous version (v1.4 or higher) to SWAT 3 Tactical GOTY (v2.0) by running the swat3_20up_us.exe file (see above).
- Install the swat3civilunrest.exe file to obtain the "Civil Unrest" Map.
- Install the swat3autoshop.exe file to obtain the "Auto Shop" Map.
- Install the swat3missions_up.exe file to obtain the career files and enable the 10-Man Career Mode.

Multiplayer Update for SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle

This file adds the base level of multiplayer and mod capabilities of SWAT 3: Elite Edition to SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle. This file updates SWAT 3 versions 1.1 and 1.2 to version 1.6. The upgrade is 53.9 MB and offered in various languages.

Whitman Airport 2.0

Your tactical team investigates reports of suspicious activity at the small Los Angeles area airport.
This file adds the 2.0 version of the "Whitman Airport" Mission to SWAT 3 version 2.0 if the user did not have a version of "Whitman Airport". This file will also update the previously released "Whitman Airport" Map (v1.7) to "Whitman Airport" Map (v2.0) and remove the old "Whitman Airport" Map (v1.7) from the Missions Folder

Abandoned 2.0

This mission is a rapid deployment of tactical personnel sent to investigate reports of a deranged gunman threatening citizens at 12th & Figueroa. Your team must gain control of mentally deranged suspect and evacuate all unauthorized persons. This mission was developed by the SWAT 3 team and originally released to subscribers of PC Player magazine in March 2001.
This file adds the 2.0 version of the "Abandoned" Mission to SWAT 3 version 2.0 if the user did not have a version of "Abandoned". This file will also update the previously released "Abandoned" Map (v1.7) to "Abandoned" Map (v2.0) and remove the old "Abandoned" Map (v1.7) from the Missions Folder.

Library 2.0

Terrorists have stormed the Los Angeles University campus, and in the bedlam and confusion, kidnapped Chancellor Remus Dumar. The chancellor and his captors are barricaded in the campus library. No demands have been issued at this time.
This file adds the 2.0 version of the "University Library" Mission to SWAT 3 version 2.0 if the user did not have a version of "University Library". This file will also update the previously released "University Library" Map (v1.7) to "University Library" Map (v2.0) and remove the old "University Library" Map (v1.7) from the Missions Folder.

Post Office 2.0

Rapid deployment of tactical personnel is required to investigate and clear suspicious activity occurring inside the North LA branch of American Eagle Express. Closed due to a labor strike, the American Eagle Express depot is empty of employees. Dispatch has received numerous reports of heavily armed suspects, wearing full tac gear, inside the American Eagle Express depot. All attempts at communication with suspects have failed. Prepare to go tactical.
This file adds the 2.0 version of the "Post Office" Mission to SWAT 3 version 2.0 if the user did not have a version of "Post Office". This file will also update the previously released "Post Office" Map (v1.7) to "Post Office" Map (v2.0) and remove the old "Post Office" Map (v1.7) from the Missions Folder.

If you're running SWAT 3 in hardware-acceleration mode, please make sure you're using
the very latest drivers for your 3D-accelerator card. Even if you've recently bought
your computer or 3D card, it's likely that updated drivers have since become available.
Find the chipset used by your 3D card in the list of manufacturers below, then go to the manufacturer's site to download the latest drivers. If you're unsure which chipset is installed on your 3D card, refer to the card's
documentation or look up your card on Adrenaline Vault's Video Board List.
Sierra works closely with these vendors and will update this page frequently with the latest information on any known issues. Check back often, or call the manufacturer directly if you continue to have problems running SWAT 3.

Disk and Manual Replacement
To replace your SWAT CD within 90 days after purchase, please send only the CD and a copy of your dated receipt. After 90 days, please include a US $10 handling fee along with the game CD. For documentation, please include a $5.00 handling fee and a photocopy ONLY of the game CD (A36.00 for disk or manual replacements inside the UK). Please include payment with your request.
